Media personality Noble Igwe has put his schedule and business engagements on hold following a perceived threat from comedian Seyi Law, as captured in a snippet of Seyi Law’s interview on Nedu’s podcast, The Honest Bunch.
In the viral clip, Seyi Law is heard issuing a threat to “beat Noble Igwe to a pulp” upon their next encounter, although the reason behind the altercation remains undisclosed.
Responding with characteristic wit, Noble Igwe took to social media to jest about the situation, poking fun at Seyi Law’s threat while humorously detailing his preparation for the potential confrontation. He quipped about focusing on gym workouts, hearty meals, and hydration, seeking advice from his followers on how to best tackle Seyi Law.
If we have any meetings planned, please don’t expect me to show up. I have been spending a lot of time in the gym, eating heavy meals, and drinking a lot of water. I need your advice,” Noble Igwe humorously announced on his Instagram page.
The post garnered reactions from fellow celebrities such as Waje, Linda Ejiofor, Abimbola Craig, Steve Chuks, and Beverly Osi, who responded with laughing emojis.
This isn’t the first time Noble Igwe and Seyi Law have found themselves embroiled in controversy. Last year, they clashed over political sentiments during an election period, with Noble Igwe cautioning against divisive narratives and Seyi Law responding defensively.
In recent days, Seyi Law was also involved in a spat with Eedris Abdulkareem, another veteran Nigerian artist, over political allegiances. Despite the heated exchanges, Seyi Law extended an olive branch to Eedris.
