Nollywood actress Chioma Okoli, best known for her role in “Skinny Girl In Transit,” has shared a deeply personal experience of betrayal and heartbreak from her past relationship.
During an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Chioma revealed that she once walked in on her boyfriend with another woman in his bed, an incident that left her profoundly hurt and shattered. Recounting the painful memory, she described it as her biggest betrayal to date.
In the interview, Chioma candidly shared,
I’m one of those girls who has seen a babe on my boyfriend’s bed before. That’s another crazy thing that has happened to me. My life is dramatic, trust me. All those things you see in films have actually happened to me.”
She narrated how she had left her school work to be with her boyfriend, believing she had found love in him. However, her world came crashing down when, on his birthday, she decided to surprise him by visiting his house, only to find another woman naked on his bed.
Chioma’s revelation shed light on the harsh realities of betrayal and infidelity that many people, including celebrities, face in their relationships.
In addition to her personal relationship struggles, Chioma also opened up about experiencing sexual harassment in her professional life. She disclosed an incident where a former employer had demanded sexual favors from her in exchange for a job opportunity.
Sharing her experience with sexual harassment, she said,
Yes, I’ve experienced sexual harassment. Apart from those that I’ve worked with, there have been people who just genuinely liked me for being talented.”
Chioma recounted an unsettling encounter where she was invited to an office for a job opportunity but was made to wait for hours before being propositioned for sex in exchange for the job.
