Nollywood actress Sotayo Gaga has expressed her gratitude to fans and well-wishers following the birth of her first child.
Over the weekend, the actress shared the exciting news through a heartfelt video showing her baby bump, captioned simply, “Mood.” Following this announcement, photos of Sotayo with her newborn began circulating online, sparking a flood of congratulatory messages.
Taking to her Instagram page, Sotayo thanked her fans and supporters for their kind words, prayers, and gifts. She acknowledged that while she may not have seen every post or comment, she deeply appreciates the love and support. She also used the opportunity to clarify that she does not own a Facebook account, cautioning her fans to be aware of potential impersonation.
Her post read:

Sotayo Gaga, who has kept much of her private life away from the public eye, secretly tied the knot with her husband in March 2021. Although she has not publicly revealed much about her spouse, it’s been rumored that he hails from Nassarawa State, especially after she received several chieftaincy titles in the region.
In 2021, an Instagram blogger, Gistlover, alleged that Sotayo left her longtime boyfriend, AY, for a northern-based monarch. Sotayo dismissed these claims, asking the blogger to let them live their lives in peace.
In another incident in 2022, rumours surfaced that three men, believed to be involved with the actress, clashed at her birthday party. Sotayo responded with humor, posting laughing emojis in reaction to the reports.
Earlier this year, the actress found herself in a controversial situation when she called out gospel singer Samuel Paul. He had sent her inappropriate messages, asking for a sexual encounter while in Nigeria. Furious, Sotayo publicly condemned his actions, questioning if all gospel musicians behaved similarly in private.
