Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh was all smiles after attending the Mid-Term Celebratory Dinner held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, State House, Abuja, honouring President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Sharing photos from the event on social media, Tonto described the evening as one filled with reflection, progress, and inspiration. She expressed gratitude for being part of a historic moment.

Tonto has long been a vocal supporter of President Tinubu. In March, on his 73rd birthday, she prayed for his wisdom, strength, and good health, and for the success of his vision for Nigeria.
Her political allegiance became official last October when she was unveiled as a member of the All Progressive Congress (APC) by the party’s women leader. Despite facing backlash and accusations of hypocrisy from some netizens, Tonto stood firm, emphasizing that impactful leadership comes from visionary leaders committed to selfless service and national progress.
Last year, she faced criticism for publicly backing President Tinubu, citing statistics to highlight his achievements. She also challenged opposition candidate Peter Obi on his borehole projects in Northern Nigeria, questioning his commitment to Nigeria’s development and expressing disappointment at the idea that the country was almost entrusted to him.
