In a recent interview, renowned Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo shared his candid views on the state of churches and government policies in Nigeria.
Refuting the title of “man of God,” Okonkwo instead identified himself as a child of God, expressing concerns about the exploitation of the church for personal gain by some religious leaders.
Okonkwo highlighted the heavy responsibilities associated with being a man of God, asserting that he did not believe he fit into that role.
He criticized the pervasive trend of some clergy members using the church as a means to amass wealth and obtain personal benefits, lamenting the transformation of certain churches into hubs of nefarious activities.
