Obi Cubana weighs in on Paulo Okoye and Very Dark Man’s beef. Nigerian businessman Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana, has commented on the ongoing feud between talent manager Paulo Okoye and social media activist Very Dark Man (VDM).
The drama began when VDM made a shocking claim about celebrities sneaking into Davido’s wedding. He specifically targeted Iyabo Ojo, Paulo Okoye’s girlfriend, alleging that she only attended the after-party and not the main wedding. Offended by these remarks, Paulo defended Iyabo, expressing pity for VDM and describing his future as miserable.
In response, VDM advised Paulo to stay out of his issues with Iyabo. Paulo escalated the situation, telling Davido and others to choose between him and VDM.
Obi Cubana urged blogs to stop amplifying disrespectful behaviour from younger individuals towards their elders. He emphasized the negative impact of such visibility, stating,
Dear blogs, pls stop giving visibility to youth insulting elders! You enable them! We can’t continue to enable rubbish!! Stop, pls!!”
Skitmaker Sabinus also weighed in, highlighting how social media has led people to forget that respect is reciprocal and that there is life beyond the digital world. He emphasized the importance of remembering age differences and maintaining respect regardless of circumstances.
VDM has recently gained fame for his outspoken and often controversial statements on various issues in Nigeria. His blunt commentary has sparked numerous debates and confrontations, contributing to his growing notoriety.
