On May 14, Hilda Bachi broke the longest individual cooking marathon, a record of 87 hours and 50 minutes by an Indian chef, Lata Tondon with an 87-hour, 45-minute continuous cooking run.
Furthermore, her passion for cooking and her determination to break this record has garnered a lot of attention and support from her fans and media followers on social. Many have followed her progress and cheered her on in this difficult task.
More than 500 Nigerians cheered her on, danced and listened to music at the Amore Gardens venue in Lekki, Lagos, showing her love and support. Also in attendance were Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Tiwa, and Charles Okocha.
Nigerian celebrities such as Spyro, Banky-W, Dremo, IK Osakioduwa, Eni Adeoluwa, Teni, Kaffydanceand Sukibii also visited the venue to encourage the chef.
