In a recent turn of events, Nigerian singer OlaDips has called out popular blogger and entertainer Tunde Ednut, accusing him of exploiting his alleged death for clout.
OlaDips claims that despite reaching out to Tunde Ednut to discuss the promotion of his album, he received no response. However, to his surprise, Tunde Ednut allegedly posted about his “death” on his blog platform shortly after.
OlaDips expressed his disappointment, stating that he believes Tunde Ednut is more interested in using his story to generate likes and comments than genuinely supporting his music career. The singer reveals that just a day before the controversial post, he had messaged Tunde Ednut about promoting his album, inquiring about the cost, but received no reply.
This accusation comes after OlaDips recently found himself at the center of controversy surrounding his alleged death and subsequent resurrection. The singer had been declared dead by friends on social media, leading to a wave of mourning among fans. However, three days later, OlaDips confirmed he was alive, promising to share his unusual story. The skepticism around his supposed death increased when his album’s songs surged in the Apple charts during that period.
Actress Etinosa had previously criticized OlaDips, asserting that faking his death for publicity was unnecessary and inappropriate. She voiced her disbelief in the authenticity of the death announcement and expressed disappointment in the singer’s approach to promoting his album.
