Nollywood actress and movie producer Oma Nnadi has addressed the growing concern among fans about the whereabouts of her colleague, Alex Ekubo.
In a recent Instagram story, Oma urged fans and netizens to stop looking for the actor, assuring them that Alex is “healthy, well and fine.” She reminded everyone that not everyone needs to be active on social media all the time and asked that her friend be given space to breathe.
She wrote:
Stop looking for Alex Ekubo. He’s healthy, well and fine. Everyone must not be on social media. Let my friend breathe.”
Earlier this year, many fans had expressed worries due to Alex’s absence from Instagram since December 30th. The light-skinned actor had not posted for months, sparking speculation about his wellbeing.
Despite the silence online, Alex was recently spotted in a video interacting with children, reassuring fans that he is doing fine.
In 2023, Alex shared heartfelt thoughts on the complexities of life, especially following the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad. He highlighted the irony of people mourning the dead while harboring bitterness toward the living and noted how society often envies success but neglects those struggling.
He also penned a touching message during the passing of Junior Pope, praying for kindness, wisdom, and genuine human sympathy during difficult times—rather than people exploiting others’ pain for content.
