Job Description
We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to assist in the company’s day-to-day logistics and facilities management. This role is based in the Lekki VGC, Lagos Nigeria.
Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all installations and refurbishments.
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations.
- Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize costs.
- Control activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building security etc.
- Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate, cost-effective way.
- Set-up and breakdown at events in external venues when necessary.
- Managing vehicle fleet.
- Managing deliveries and collections.
- Acting as support staff for international executives of the business when necessary
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices.
- Procurement, plan inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency.
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
Qualification
- Degree in logistics management or related field.
- Minimum 1-year proven experience as facilities or operations manager or relevant position.
- Valid driver’s license preferably E and G categories.
- Valid international passport.
- Proficient in the Microsoft 365 suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc).
- Well-versed in technical operations and facilities management best practices.
- Knowledge of basic logistics principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Good analytical/critical thinking.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
