Before today’s UEFA Champions League match between Napoli and AC Milan, Nigerian music icon Peter Okoye stormed the Italian city of Naples. Later tonight, Okoye will be at Estadio Diego Armando Maradona tonight to cheer on his friend Victor Osimhen. The well-known musician used social media to announce being in the city for the quarterfinal second-leg match.
“Reporting LIVE from Napoli to support my G @victorosimhen9 #NapoliVsAcMilan 🤞🏾👌🏾,” Okoye wrote on his Twitter handle, accompanied by a short video.
Osimhen hopes to help Napoli overturn a first-leg 1-0 deficit and secure a place in the semi-finals.
He also recently stated that he can’t wait to win the Italian Scudetto
The 24-year-old missed the first leg with a muscle injury.
