The long-standing feud between the Okoye brothers—Paul (Rudeboy), Peter (Mr. P), and their elder brother, Jude Okoye—has taken a dramatic turn following Jude’s recent legal troubles.
On Wednesday, Jude Okoye, the former manager of the iconic Psquare duo, was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi over allegations of a ₦1.38 billion fraud.
Reacting to the news on Instagram, Paul Okoye accused his twin brother, Peter Okoye, of orchestrating Jude’s legal woes. Sharing his thoughts via Instagram Stories, Paul expressed his support for Jude, telling him to “stay strong” and vowing to secure his release.
Speaking to the press outside the court, Paul openly stated:
Peter is the one who put Jude in prison, and I’m here to bring him out.”
Paul also made an appearance at the court in Ikoyi on Friday to show solidarity with Jude during the proceedings.
The Okoye brothers have had a tumultuous relationship, with disagreements and accusations often making headlines. In 2023, the brothers had another major fallout over the management of joint funds, with allegations that Jude was diverting money.
Paul also revealed in a past interview how Peter had him and Jude arrested by the EFCC in December 2023. After an investigation, Paul claimed he was cleared of all allegations.
In response to the allegations, Peter Okoye has consistently maintained that he felt marginalized and disrespected by Paul and Jude. He accused Paul of siding with Jude to humiliate him and neglect their shared goals of reclaiming Psquare’s top spot in the music industry. Peter has previously stated that Paul’s actions have repeatedly disrespected his family, ideas, and talent.
