Paul Okoye and Ex-Wife Anita Okoye Unfollow Each Other on Instagram

Award-winning Nigerian singer Paul Okoye and his ex-wife, Anita Okoye, appear to be at odds as they have unfollowed each other on Instagram.

The former couple, who officially divorced in 2022, seem to have severed their social media ties, raising speculations about the state of their relationship.

A check of their respective Instagram accounts revealed that Paul and Anita, who are co-parents to three children, no longer follow each other. The news has sparked mixed reactions online, with some netizens questioning the authenticity of their previously amicable co-parenting relationship.

This development comes just hours after reports surfaced that Paul Okoye, who is expecting his fourth child with his new partner Ifeoma, has purchased a second home in the US. Many assume the property is intended for Ifeoma, adding fuel to the fire of online speculation.

Anita Okoye filed for divorce in 2022, citing reasons such as cheating, separation, absentee fatherhood, fraud, and difficult experiences during their marriage. The divorce was finalized by an Abuja High Court, which granted Anita a monthly settlement of $20,000 and several of Paul’s properties.

Despite their divorce, Paul and Anita had maintained a seemingly cordial relationship. In April, they reunited to celebrate their first child’s birthday with a low-key party. Paul also publicly celebrated Anita on Mother’s Day, and she reciprocated the gesture on Father’s Day.

Last year, the former couple reunited at Paul’s concert in Detroit, where he performed alongside his twin brother, Peter Okoye. Although they kept their distance during the event, Anita expressed pride in coming together for their children’s sake.
