Paulo Okoye, known for his stance on issues involving loved ones, has fiercely defended his partner Iyabo Ojo against allegations made by Very Dark Man (VDM).
Reacting to VDM’s statement that Iyabo was not invited to Davido’s wedding but only to the after party, Paulo lashed out, calling out VDM’s obsession and challenging others to take a stand between him and the controversial activist.

Recently, amidst the aftermath of Davido and Chioma’s wedding, Paulo found himself addressing contentious remarks made by Very Dark Man (VDM) regarding his partner, actress Iyabo Ojo.
VDM had stirred controversy by alleging that Iyabo Ojo did not receive an invitation to the main wedding event but was only invited to the subsequent after party, alongside other influencers. This claim didn’t sit well with Paulo Okoye, who took to social media to air his grievances in a pointed response under the trending video.

The altercation between Paulo and VDM escalated further when VDM responded, advising Paulo to stay out of his issues involving Iyabo Ojo. Undeterred, Paulo reiterated his stance, publicly calling on notable figures like Davido, Seun Kuti, Cubana Chief Priest, and Poco Lee to choose between him and VDM, demanding an end to what he termed VDM’s “nonsense.”
The rift between Iyabo Ojo and Very Dark Man dates back to their clash over the investigation into the death of singer Mohbad, where Iyabo’s vocal advocacy and support for Mohbad’s widow, Wunmi, collided with VDM’s insistence on a DNA test for Mohbad’s son. This controversy underscored their ongoing animosity, which resurfaced amidst the buzz of Davido’s wedding.
