Manchester City faces Inter Milan in the Champions League finals at Istanbul’s Atatürk Olympic Stadium on Saturday 10 June 2023.
As he prepared his team for the final showdown, Guardiola declared-
“We must … accept that if we want to make a definitive step as a big club, we must win in Europe.
The Spaniard also praised the Inter Milan defence, expressing how difficult it will be for his team to break them down.
“We have to win the Champions League – that’s something you can’t avoid. Sooner or later, we have to win in Europe to go to another level. The important thing is to be there again and again and again
He added-
“I cannot deny the quality of the opponent but we are confident, I’m so optimistic.”
Man City stand a chance of completing a treble, having already won the league and the FA Cup.
