Pero Osaiyemi Adeniyi, the ex-partner of legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba, is celebrating her father, Prince Jide Adeniyi, as he turns 87.
Taking to Instagram, the mother of four shared heartwarming photos of herself and her father, describing him as “the king of my heart.” She expressed her deep love and admiration for him, calling him living proof of God’s grace, favour, and faithfulness.
She wrote:
“Happy birthday to the king of my heart, my dad, my hero. Wishing you a beautiful birthday filled with joy and grace. You are living proof of God’s grace, favour and faithfulness. Love you so much, Dad! Omo Olukare Alila, omo arogun mosa #billiondollardad.”
Pero has never hidden her affection for her father. On his birthday last year, she eulogised him with emotional words and videos, describing him as her first love and thanking him for being an exceptional father.
In 2022, the U.S.-based mother of four flew to Nigeria to surprise him on his 84th birthday, a gesture that left him teary-eyed with joy.
Interestingly, Prince Jide Adeniyi once made headlines when he claimed in an interview that 2Baba was “actually married” to his daughter, alleging that the singer married another woman, Annie Idibia, after his relationship with Pero, with whom he shares three children.
Pero has since moved on and found love again. In 2022, she publicly unveiled her new partner on Valentine’s Day, showing off the roses and teddy bear gifts she received. She expressed gratitude to him for bringing out the best in her and loving her unconditionally.
