Pero Osaiyemi, one of the mothers of legendary Nigerian singer 2baba’s seven children, has responded fiercely to a troll who criticized her for voting for Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 American election.
The mother of four had shared a video on Instagram after casting her vote, proudly displaying her support for Trump’s campaign with a post that read:
TRUMP/VANCE/ELON/RFK/VIVEK/TULSI. MAGA. MAHA TOOBIGTORIG.”
Her post didn’t go unnoticed, and one troll took to her comment section to slam her for voting for Trump, stating, “Coming from an immigrant.”
Pero, undeterred, swiftly clapped back, clarifying that she is, in fact, a “legal immigrant.” In her response, she firmly stated: “Yes, a legal immigrant.”
Her sharp reply earned her a wave of support from her followers, with many praising her for standing her ground and correcting the troll’s misconception. Supporters pointed out that Trump’s policies focus on illegal immigrants and questioned why some would target legal immigrants who support him.
One follower, Life Of Joy Amy, wrote, “Yes o. A legal immigrant. Trump is only after illegal immigrants, so why are some people pressed?”
Another commenter, Divine Michy1, added, “It’s illegal immigrants that have a problem with Trump being president.”
The exchange drew even more praise for Pero’s confident defense of her choice. Schatz Unique simply remarked, “Yooh! Her response enter,” while Veey Stitches Fashion wrote, “Her comeback is 💯.”
