The longstanding feud between Nigerian musicians Portable and Goya Menor has resumed. It has started with Portable hitting back at his colleague after a recent interview. Goya Menor appeared on HipTv to make it clear that he had no issues with Portable. The latter isn’t convinced neither is he letting up.
The online battle began after Goya Menor won the Headies Awards for Best Street-Hop Artiste of the Year in 2022. Portable had slammed Goya Menor. He called him “unpopular” after the rapper won the category from which the Zazu crooner was disqualified.
In his Hip TV interview, Goya Menor said he didn’t have an issue with Portable, but the Zazu crooner fired back, telling Goya Menor that he couldn’t compare his achievements to his. Portable challenged Goya Menor to list his hit songs and endorsement deals, boasting that he drops hits back-to-back and adding that even the Headies Award organizers are currently regretting their decision to give Goya Menor the award.
The feud between the two musicians has been ongoing, and it remains to be seen how it will be resolved.
