Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, marked his birthday with an outpouring of love from his wives and girlfriend. Despite the controversies surrounding him, the women in his life used the occasion to celebrate and shower him with heartfelt prayers and affirmations of love.
Taking the lead, Portable’s wife, Bewaji, shared throwback photos of their time together, accompanied by a touching message. She described him as her “favourite person in the world” and prayed for his continued happiness, health, and blessings.
“Happy birthday to you, Okikiola. May God bless you with happiness, love, and good health for your year ahead. As you celebrate another year of life, may God’s blessings shine upon you.”
Portable’s girlfriend and baby mama, Ashabi, also joined in the celebration. In her tribute, she expressed her unwavering love for the singer and called on fans to pray for him.
“Finally, today is my favorite birthday. Please, lovers, kindly say a word of prayer for him.
Bobo mi, I wish you more years of good health, peace & fame. GOD won’t forsake you.
I love you then, I love you now & pray to love you forever. HAPPY BIRTHDAY OKIKIOLAMI.”
A week prior, Ashabi had already shown excitement for his upcoming birthday, sharing prayers and heartfelt wishes for him.
Portable is married to Bewaji, with whom he shares two children. He also has four other children with three women. His second baby mama, Kemi (also known as Honey Berry), had previously accused him of physical abuse during their relationship and claimed he had badmouthed Bewaji at the time.
Last month, Portable faced criticism after taking only Bewaji on a trip to London, leading to public disagreements with Ashabi. Portable defended his choice, praising Bewaji’s loyalty and labeling her the custodian of his property.
“Even if I marry the richest man’s daughter, she must drop her father’s name because I am a star,” Portable declared in an Instagram video.
He also accused Ashabi of competing with Bewaji, whom he described as “peaceful.”
