Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has found himself in legal trouble as the Ogun State Police Command declares him wanted.
The entertainer has vehemently denied the allegations, describing the arrest warrant as an attempt to tarnish his image.
The self-acclaimed “Zazoo Zehh” crooner, is at the center of controversy following a declaration by the Ogun State Magistrate Court that he is wanted. A statement circulated online accused the singer of conspiracy, serious assault, breach of public peace, attempted murder, and the recruitment of armed thugs.
The incident in question allegedly occurred on February 5, 2025. The police issued a detailed statement about the charges, prompting widespread attention.
Reacting to the allegations, Portable took to social media to clear his name. The visibly distressed singer denied any involvement in the crimes, claiming the warrant was a calculated attack against him.
In his words:
I didn’t k!ll anybody. If anything happens to me, there will be trouble. They should post the evidence of where I fought them at my bar. They are evil people, and they are lying against me. Just k!ll me and let everywhere scatter.”
Portable called on the authorities to provide concrete evidence of their claims and reiterated that he is being falsely accused.
This isn’t the first time Portable has been embroiled in public disputes. Last year, the singer engaged in a fiery tirade against Keji, accusing her of infidelity with Koko Zaria, an aide to MC Oluomo. Portable alleged that Keji had been involved with multiple men, including Koko Zaria, and went as far as making threats.
In response, Keji vowed to retaliate, stating that the ongoing issue would be Portable’s undoing. She also accused the singer of begging her privately to reconcile while tarnishing her reputation online.
The ongoing situation raises questions about Portable’s future as legal actions loom. Fans and critics alike are waiting for the police to release evidence to substantiate their claims. Until then, the case remains a trending topic in Nigerian entertainment circles.
