Fast-rising Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly shamed one of his baby mamas, Ashabi Simple, in a recent online rant.
Portable, known for his controversial personality, revealed that Ashabi is expecting their second child, despite claiming she would step aside from their relationship.
Portable accused Ashabi of calling his wife, Omobewaji, to declare her intention to move on from him, while simultaneously carrying his child. He also bragged about how he boosted Ashabi’s career, which allegedly led to her securing deals without his authorization.
In his rant, Portable expressed frustration over Ashabi signing ambassadorial deals that he believes he should be getting at a higher rate. He compared her to his housewife, Omobewaji, who he claimed does not sign such deals. Portable also criticized Ashabi for traveling while pregnant and alleged that she hides her pregnancy in photos.
He stated,
You called my wife and told her that you wanted to move on from me but yet you are pregnant with our second child. You are very ungrateful. Nobody knows you if not for me. Why are you signing ambassador deals behind me when I already feed you and take care of you? Deals that I’m supposed to be getting and be charging higher. Even my housewife does not sign ambassador deals. You travelled with your second pregnancy and now you are sucking belle to snap pictures.”
This incident is not the first time Portable has publicly shamed his baby mamas or wives. He has previously targeted Ashabi Simple, especially after she made a controversial statement about her unwavering love for the singer. Portable subjected her to online backlash and criticized her for discussing their relationship in an interview, which he felt disrespected his first wife.
Ashabi retaliated by removing memories of Portable from her Instagram page, highlighting the ongoing tension between them.
