We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager with a passion for men’s fashion and a keen eye for detail to join our Menswear team.
Job Summary
- As the Production Manager at JohnnieFits , you will oversee the entire production process of our ready to wear and custom tailored pieces.
- You will ensure that our designs are brought to life with the highest quality standards, on time, and within budget.
- Your role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for excellence and innovation in bridal fashion.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the production process from design to final product. Job
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines.
- Ensure that all bridal wear products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Supervise and lead the production team, including tailors , pattern makers, and quality control staff.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of materials and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
- Liaise with fabric and material suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external vendors.
- Prepare and manage the production budget.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Implement best practices and innovative techniques in ready to wear and custom tailored production.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure that design specifications are feasible and met.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and incorporate feedback into the production process.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Fashion Design, Textile Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production management role within the fashion industry, preferably in men’s wear.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textile properties.
- Proven experience in managing production schedules and budgets.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on quality and precision.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in using production management software and tools.
