Job Description

We are looking to hire a suitable candidate to plan, design and record, engineering projects by performing the following duties

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design project.
  • Prepare concept and detailed engineering design
  • Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data.
  • Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental impact studies, and designs for project.
  • Carryout site inspections to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards.
  • Uses computer assisted engineering design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents and drawings.
  • Prepare bills of quantity.
  • Prepare monthly progress report.
  • Report technical issues on site to unit head
  • Interpretation and application of Nexant policies and procedures to the construction activities.
  • Ensure quality of work done is consistent with Nexant’s values and specification.
  • Work within agreed deadlines.
  • Produce and contribute to project reports.
  • Have an understanding and a good working knowledge of project plan.
  • Performing all quality functions relating to the role in accordance with the organization’s QMS.

  • Project Management – Develops project plans; Coordinates projects.

  • Cost Consciousness – Works within approved budget; Develops and implements cost saving measures.
