Nigerian prophet Samuel King has issued a stern warning to Nollywood actor Yul Edochie, urging him to reconcile with his first wife, May Edochie.
In an Instagram post, the prophet revealed that he has been holding onto this message for two months but now feels restless due to the negative events he foresees.
Prophet King advised Yul to make peace with May before it becomes too late, stressing that the impending situation is one Yul won’t be able to withstand. He highlighted the trauma both Yul and May have endured and emphasized that only they know the full extent of their suffering. The prophet urged Yul to heed his advice and not argue, as this is a prophetic warning, not just marital counsel.
Yul Edochie’s marriage to his colleague, Judy Austin, led to the collapse of his marriage with May, the mother of his four children. Following his second marriage, May filed for divorce, demanded N100 million from Judy, and secured a restraining order against Yul, denying him access to their former marital home. She also obtained full custody of their children.
Earlier this year, Yul publicly criticized May, accusing her of having breast enlargement and a tummy tuck without his consent while mourning their son. He claimed she did this with the endorsement of her married boyfriend and accused her of manipulating the public to tarnish his image. Yul vowed that 2024 would mark the end of his silence on the matter.
Also, in a recent emotional event, May broke down while sharing the struggles and sacrifices she made for her family, which she felt were in vain. She revealed that she had to pick herself up despite the world’s expectations for her to wallow in self-pity and mentioned that her multiple businesses had failed.
May’s lawyer recently criticized actress Yvonne Jegede for defending Yul’s decision to marry a second wife. The lawyer revealed that Yul does not pay child support or cover his children’s school fees, leaving May to handle these responsibilities alone. The lawyer also alleged that Yul told his daughter to seek financial assistance from her mother, as she was earning more than him.
