According to reports, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is now trying to sign Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund. The 20-year-old scored ten goals in 34 appearances for Atalanta last season and has become one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe. According to news reports, United boss Erik ten Hag identified Hojlund as their top striker target this summer and hoped to secure around a £40 million deal.
But Atalanta’s asking price is almost double, £86m, which the Red Devils may struggle to pay given their pursuit of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
And according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, PSG have made an enquiry about Hojlund as they look to strengthen their forward line.
This could be a blow to Ten Hag, who has already walked away from a deal to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
