Queen Naomi Silekunola, the estranged wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, recently celebrated her son Tadenikawo’s 3rd birthday, sharing adorable photos on social media.
However, a concerned fan took to her comment section, urging the queen to consider her son’s privacy and remove the pictures from the public eye.
Last Saturday, as Tadenikawo marked his third birthday, Queen Naomi expressed joy and shared insights into the meaning behind his name, symbolizing royalty. Despite the celebratory atmosphere, a fan felt compelled to offer unsolicited advice, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding the young prince’s privacy.
The comment read,
Privacy of this child should be considered when posting his details for now and future to come. Please, I will advise you to take his pictures off social media for now, just my advice though.”
This isn’t the first time Queen Naomi has faced such warnings. Similar concerns were raised last year ahead of Tadenikawo’s second birthday, cautioning against excessive publicizing of the child. Despite the prior warnings, the queen proceeded to celebrate his birthday with a grand Jungle Safari-themed party in Akure.
The separation of Queen Naomi and the Ooni of Ife was announced in December 2022, marking the end of their three-year marriage. In her statement on Instagram, Queen Naomi ruled out the possibility of returning to the palace, citing the Ooni’s multiple wives. Reflecting on her marriage, she acknowledged both sweet and bitter moments, recognizing the learning curve that life has presented.
As the public continues to speculate about the estranged couple’s situation, Queen Naomi faces ongoing scrutiny regarding her choices, especially when it comes to sharing moments of her son’s life on social media.
