Regina Daniels buys herself a new house as she steps into a new chapter of her life with strength and confidence following her recent marital crisis.
The Nollywood actress and mother of two took to Instagram to announce the big news, sharing stunning photos and clips of her new mansion. In her caption, Regina declared herself a queen in her own home, adding that she needed a roof over her head and made it happen for herself and her family.
“In my house, I am a queen!
I needed a roof over my head, so I got this for me and my family,” she wrote.
The announcement came days after news of her marital troubles with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, made headlines. In a viral video, Regina was seen in the midst of men as her brother confronted thugs allegedly sent to her by Nwoko.
In response, the senator released a public statement claiming that the misunderstanding stemmed from Regina’s supposed struggle with alcohol and drug abuse — allegations her family quickly dismissed.
Her brother, Sammy West, who defended her during the altercation, accused Nwoko of assault and condemned violence against women. Their younger siblings, Sweezzy and Destiny Daniels, also came to her defense, with Destiny sharing photos of scars she claimed Regina sustained during the conflict.
Following Regina’s house announcement, Sammy West took to Instagram to celebrate his sister’s achievement while taking a swipe at critics.
“How do some of those old folks who said rubbish feel right now? Stupid? Yes, that’s the answer,” he wrote.
“Now this is how to respond! Doings girl. Congratulations, my angel! Don’t forget, ‘In my house, I am a queen.’”
The Daniels family has consistently shown their support for Regina through her ups and downs. Earlier this year, Sweezzy also praised her strength, noting that success isn’t determined by anyone’s background.
