Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has left many of her fans puzzled following her latest Instagram video. The movie star, who reportedly relocated to Lagos over the weekend due to marital issues with her politician husband, Ned Nwoko, shared a new clip promoting a skincare brand — but it’s the reflection in her glasses that got everyone talking.
In the video, Regina appeared relaxed and radiant in her signature light-skinned glow, wearing stylish glasses. However, sharp-eyed fans quickly noticed what seemed to be Ned Nwoko’s reflection in the lenses, wearing his familiar white outfit and red cap and even appearing to hold the camera while recording her.
The discovery immediately sparked a wave of reactions in her comment section:
“No be Ned dey that background? These people don play us,” one fan wrote.
“I saw Ned in your glasses,” another observed.
“Senator Ned Nwoko is a very good husband indeed to be behind the camera,” a user added.
While some believe the couple may have quietly reconciled, others insist the video was recorded before their marital crisis.
Recall that just last week, Regina Daniels accused her husband of domestic violence, saying she no longer felt like a queen in her marriage. The emotional clip, which showed her in tears, went viral across social media.
In response, Senator Ned Nwoko denied the claims, alleging that the tension in their home stemmed from Regina’s “struggle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” He claimed his attempts to get her professional help were resisted and accused the actress of turning violent, assaulting domestic staff and damaging property.
Regina’s brother, Sammy West, who was seen shielding her in the viral video, publicly called out Ned for allegedly assaulting his sister, insisting he would never condone violence against women. Her elder brother, Sweezzy, also weighed in, dismissing Ned’s allegations as false, while their younger sister, Destiny Daniels, shared photos of Regina’s scars online to prove her point.
Despite the controversy, Ned Nwoko sounded calm during a recent Channels TV interview when asked about the situation. He admitted that he was still managing things at home and expressed optimism about resolving the matter.
Meanwhile, Regina seems focused on moving forward. Shortly after returning to social media, she shared a video of herself boarding a private jet with her brother and friends. Days later, she announced that she had bought a new house in Ikoyi, Lagos, revealing that she wanted “a roof over her head” and decided to secure one for herself and her family.
