Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has raised alarm over alleged domestic violence in her marriage to billionaire politician Ned Nwoko.
In a viral video circulating online, the mother of two was seen in tears surrounded by security men, claiming she could no longer endure the abuse. Regina reportedly cried out that the situation had become unbearable and she was tired of enduring it.
According to filmmaker Stanley On Top, who shared the clip, Ned allegedly sent thugs to assault Regina at home, but her brothers stepped in to protect her.
Online users were shocked as videos surfaced showing tense moments during the altercation.
This is not the first time the couple’s marriage has been trailed by controversy. Earlier in February, rumours spread that Ned had impregnated another Nollywood actress, Chika Ike, prompting Regina to temporarily deactivate her social media page. Ned later issued a statement denying any affair or paternity claims.
Despite his denial, whispers of marital tension persisted. In March, the senator posted a public note describing Regina as his “fire and sweetest delight,” assuring fans that their love remained strong. He also announced that she was expecting another child with him, calling it a new blessing for their family.
Following the latest video, Regina’s elder brother Sammy West took to Instagram to warn against domestic violence. He declared that he would fight any man who lays hands on a woman, regardless of who she is.
Tagging Ned directly, Sammy accused him of beating his sister, smashing her head against a wall, and fleeing before allegedly sending thugs to “clean up his mess.”
He wrote:
“Let me repeat — anywhere I see a man beating a woman, I’ll fight with my blood! Senator Ned Nwoko, you’re lucky you ran after hitting my sister. I for burst all your jaws.”
Sammy, who has often defended Regina online, later expressed gratitude to God that his sister’s success does not depend on anyone. Last year, Regina had described Sammy as her “first love,” saying she’s forever grateful to have a brother who always stands firmly by her.
