Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has once again showered praises on her estranged cousin-in-law, May Yul Edochie, while taking a subtle jab at her cousin Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin.
Rita recently shared a video of May Edochie, who was glammed up for the premiere of Funke Akindele’s Everybody Loves Jenifa. The video showcased May’s elegance, which Rita described as timeless, thanking God for blessing May with a unique physique that has remained radiant despite over two decades of marriage and four children.
The actress couldn’t help but compare May’s youthful look to Judy Austin, whom she implied appeared older despite still raising young children. Rita expressed her pride in May’s beauty, achievements, and humility, referring to her as a “treasure perfected by God.”
In her post, Rita wrote:
“My glam gorgeous queen is hotter than those oppressing themselves, not her! After four kids and over a decade of marriage, you still shine like a diamond. While some are still bearing children but look older than an 80-year-old, grace is too strong for my queen May! You’re a treasure, a masterpiece perfected by God. Your beauty, humility, and heart inspire others to be their best selves.”
On the other hand, Judy Austin continues to celebrate her husband, Yul Edochie. In a recent Instagram post, Judy shared a photo of them from their visit to Prophet Odumeje’s church, where she praised Yul as her king, protector, and heartbeat. She thanked him for his tireless efforts to provide for their family, describing him as the most handsome man alive and praying for God’s blessings upon him.
Judy wrote:
“Thank you for everything you do, my love. Thank you for working tirelessly to take care of your family. We worship the ground you walk on. May God bless you with long life, good health, and prosperity. Your ancestors are solidly behind you, my king. Keep moving fearlessly.”
Judy has previously expressed admiration for Yul’s acting and directing prowess, referring to him as the best director in Nollywood. On Father’s Day, she described him as the strongest man she knows, praising his resilience and dedication to his family despite not always receiving the appreciation he deserves.
