Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has caused a stir on social media by condemning the supporters of Judy Austin, the second wife of her cousin-in-law, Yul Edochie.
Rita shared her disapproval of those who stand by Judy’s actions, accusing them of being a product of polygamous homes or having a history of snatching husbands. She delivered a stark warning: “Karma is real. No matter how many years it takes, it must surely come to pass.”
Rita, who has consistently criticized Judy since she became Yul’s second wife, called out her critics in an emphatic message:

While Rita didn’t explicitly name anyone, reports indicate that Blessing Nkiru Okoro (Blessing CEO) had previously defended Judy Austin’s relationship with Yul, which may have prompted Rita’s comments. Blessing CEO controversially suggested that men should leave their wives if they weren’t being “hyped” by women like Judy.
Meanwhile, the public drama surrounding Yul Edochie and Judy Austin has continued to unfold, with Judy recently celebrating Yul’s birthday on social media. In a heartfelt post, she described him as her “biggest blessing” and “soulmate,” stating that their compatibility was “out of this world.” Judy went on to praise Yul for making her a better version of herself and prayed for his continued success and strength.
Meanwhile, Yul Edochie has also been sharing intimate details of his life with Judy. In one post, he expressed his desire for a daughter from Judy, asking for a baby girl to complete their family. He also posted a picture of Judy with their second son, requesting that she grant him his wish for a daughter, promising to fulfill any of her desires in return.
