Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest football players of all time, recently achieved a remarkable milestone by playing his 200th game for Portugal.
The 38-year-old superstar has been a vital member of the Portuguese national team since making his debut in 2003 and has been instrumental in leading his country to several major international tournaments.
He received a Guinness World Record after becoming the first male player ever to make 200 international appearances.
It has now been 20 years since Cristiano Ronaldo, the 38-year-old five-time Ballon d’Or winner, made his international debut for Portugal against Kazakhstan
Throughout his illustrious career, Ronaldo has scored an incredible 122 goals for his country, making him the all-time leading scorer in the history of European football.
His goals have come in all shapes and sizes, from stunning free-kicks to clinical finishes. And have helped Portugal to win the European Championship in 2016. The UEFA Nations League in 2019 and reach the semi-finals of the World Cup in
2006.

While Ronaldo is the record-holder when it comes to men’s internationals. The overall record is held by former USWNT player and 2015 U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame inductee Kristine Lilly with 354 international appearances.
