Roy Keane, a former captain of Manchester United, has identified the two acquisitions his former team must make during the summer transfer window to contend for the title next season.
Keane insisted that Man United must purchase a world-class striker and a new goalkeeper this summer, expressing his fatigue in repeating the statement. Additionally, he claimed that David de Gea, the goalie for Manchester United, was incompetent and would not lead the team to success in the coming campaign.
“They [Manchester United] need a new goalkeeper and world-class striker, I’m sick of saying it!
“De Gea’s not good enough, he is not going to be the one to take United back to winning trophies,” Keane told ITV Sport, as quoted by Manchester Evening News.
