Nollywood actress Ruth Kadiri has revealed her bold response to trolls who mocked her engagement ring after she shared a photo of it online.
Speaking on Chude Jideonwo’s Live Talk Show, the mother of two recounted the incident, admitting that her petty side took over as she responded to critics. Kadiri explained how she revisited the post weeks later to confront those who ridiculed her.
I remember when I got engaged, I posted my ring online, and people laughed at the size of it,” she shared. “They don’t know I’m petty. So, two weeks ago, I went back to that post, looked up some of those who mocked me, and went to their pages to confront them. I was in the mood to say, ‘How far?’”
Kadiri, who has been married for five years, celebrated her wedding anniversary last year with a heartfelt note to her husband, expressing gratitude for the happiness and peace their marriage has brought her. While she keeps her husband’s identity private, she proudly flaunted her marital status in 2019, adding his surname, Ezerika, to her Instagram profile.
The actress and entrepreneur has since welcomed two beautiful daughters, maintaining a low profile about her personal life. However, investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo stirred controversy, alleging that Kadiri is her husband’s second wife and keeps him private to avoid conflict with his first wife.
