Internet sensation Sarah Idaji Ojone, known as Saidaboj, has publicly criticized popular singer Paul Okoye, professionally known as Rudeboy, on social media.
Taking to her Instagram story, Saidaboj expressed her support for Okoye’s new wife, Ivy, whom she claimed married the singer for his money.
Saidaboj’s outburst was in response to Rudeboy’s accusations that she was a negative influence on young women. She questioned his decision to leave his first wife, Anita Okoye, who had stood by him, for someone like Ivy. She also mocked Okoye, saying he is not attractive and too old to be involved in such drama.
In her Instagram story, Saidaboj wrote:
I hear say one artiste wey get dada say I dey spoil una daughters like dude why do you think your new wife married you? Your ex-wife wey been understanding with you wetin she gain? Didn’t you betray her for a golddigger like me? Like I mean no be say you finee or you get one kin swag wey go make that beautiful model marry you, smart girl came for the money bruhhh, help me tell her that I am proud of her. You be old man no dey reason like boy under 20. One more thing… Always be polite when talking to ladies do not be RUDE young BOY.”
Although Saidaboj did not explicitly mention Paul Okoye’s name, she referenced his distinctive dreadlocks and included his nickname in her rant.
This controversy follows Paul Okoye’s comments on the recent deaths of two young women, which he attributed to parental negligence and a culture of materialism. He criticized parents for allowing negative influences on their daughters and admonished young women to know their worth instead of focusing solely on men with large bank accounts.
