Influencer and controversial media personality Saida Boj has once again ignited debate with her recent comments about relationships and financial expectations.
In an interview with The Honest Bunch, Saida shared her insights on the differences between broke and rich men, making bold statements that have stirred strong reactions online.
Saida Boj declared that any man willing to spend between 20 million Naira and 50 million Naira on her could gain intimate access to her. This assertion came in response to the interviewer asking if she would be open to such a relationship based on the financial commitment. She confirmed her stance emphatically.
This comes on the heels of Saida expressing regrets about a past relationship with a married man. She admitted that dating a married man in 2023 left her with no financial gain, leading her to vow that future relationships would be approached with a monetary mindset. Saida mentioned that her talking stages with men don’t last beyond a day because she immediately expects financial contributions from them.
Saida further advised women to evaluate the financial intentions of men during the early stages of dating. In a previous conversation with Blessing Okoro on a podcast in March 2024, she claimed that men without money do not deserve love, urging financially unstable men to focus on their careers rather than pursuing romantic relationships.
Saida’s controversial views continued to trend after she stated that any man unable to spend at least 500,000 Naira on her at once is cheap. She also mentioned that she would leave a boyfriend who fails to meet her financial needs for someone who can.
Her provocative statements did not go unnoticed. Rapper Erigga reacted by ridiculing her, suggesting that spending such large sums on a woman equates to engaging with a sex worker. He criticized her appearance and called for the arrest of men engaging with her. Saida clapped back, asserting that she is wealthier than Erigga and his family, accusing him of theft and claiming her response would help revive his stagnant career.
Saida Boj’s social media presence faced challenges recently, with her accounts on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook being deactivated. However, she quickly bounced back, creating new accounts and condemning those who reported her. She expressed her determination to remain active on social media despite the opposition.
Despite the backlash, Saida remains unapologetic, continuing to advocate for her views on financial dynamics in relationships. Her statements have sparked widespread discussion about the intersection of love, money, and societal expectations in modern relationships.
