PURPOSE: The sales manager actively maintains and expands our food customer base in the region, drives customer projects and builds a solid project pipeline for sustainable business results. ADM
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility food sales customers in the West & Central African region, including the support of Key Accounts, distributor, regular Food Customers. SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER
- Developing and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies within the West African market
- Creating and fulfilling own sales plans and budget on the basis of market plans
- Controlling all sales activities with existing and potential customers
- Establish and develop long-term customer relationships
- Monitoring the market and identify market potential. Job
Qualifications
- Degree in any of the sciences, food science and technology or business administration would be preferred
- Experience in the B2B food ingredients business, plant based proteins and texturant would be highly appreciated.
- Knowledge and commercial contacts to the Savory (Meat extension, Meat analogue, Snacks), Dairy and Sweet goods markets
- Flexible and willingness to travel regularly within the region (50%)
- Excellent English & French language skills
- Independent and structured work
- Enthusiasm, initiative and ability to work under pressure
- Team spirit, result oriented and strong communication skills
- Strong customer, service orientation and technology skills
