Job Description
As a Sales Development Representative, you will generate and qualify leads through outbound prospecting activities.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls, emails, and other forms of communication to reach potential leads.
- Research and identify new leads through various channels, including databases, social media, and online research.
- Engage with prospects to understand and qualify their needs based on the company’s ICP.
- Assess the potential of leads and determine their fit for the company’s ICP.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects through ongoing communication and follow-ups.
- Educate prospects about the company’s offerings and value proposition.
- Update and maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide detailed and regular reports on lead generation and qualification efforts.
- Work closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and provide necessary background information.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, cold calling or customer service.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools (e.g., Pipedrive).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with outbound prospecting techniques and tools.
- Understanding the industry and market trends related to the company’s products/services.
