Job Description
As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for generating new leads, building relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets to drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Present and demonstrate our products or services to clients, highlighting their features and benefits.
- Conduct effective sales negotiations and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant documentation as required.
- Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process and after-sales activities.
- Continuously update product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends to effectively communicate with clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service and operations, to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network, generate leads, and promote our products or services.
- Stay up-to-date on sales techniques and best practices, seeking continuous professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and sales procedures.
- Contribute to team meetings and share insights and feedback to improve sales strategies and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in a similar industry (tech) or with related products/services.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Adaptability and resilience to work in a fast-paced and competitive sales environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the industry and market trends relevant to our products or services is an advantage.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
