Role Description

As the Sales Manager at 1Techlink, the candidate will be a key leader responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer and vendor base. candidate will lead the sales team and spearhead business development initiatives to achieve company objectives. To be responsible for growth and engagement initiatives by defining the local marketing strategy to drive awareness and grow the user base with a focus on customer acquisition. Use of data analysis to understand user behavior, identify growth opportunities, and execute projects to drive growth and engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy and Execution: – Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s business goals and objectives. – Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs. Job
  • Business Development: – Identify and evaluate business growth opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand our customer and vendor network. – Establish and nurture relationships with potential strategic partners, vendors, and clients to drive business growth and increase revenue.
  • Customer and Vendor Acquisition: – Lead efforts to acquire new customers and vendors for the mobile application, focusing on strategic segments and target markets. – Work closely with the sales team to optimize lead generation and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Relationship Management: – Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, vendors, and partners to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction. – Monitor customer feedback and market trends to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Team Leadership and Development: – Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. – Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members. Powering Movement, Empowering Africans.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: – Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth and improvement. – Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for the executive team and stakeholders.
  • Budget and Resource Management: – Manage the sales budget effectively to achieve sales targets within allocated resources. – Optimize the utilization of available resources to drive cost-efficiency and maximize ROI.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales and achieving targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Experience in managing a sales team.
  • Knowledge of mobile app technology and the ride-hailing industry.
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field of study.
