Job Description

Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the goals and objectives of the insurance firm.

Responsibilities

Utilize Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies aligned with the goals and objectives of the insurance firm.
  • Continuously assess market trends and competitor activities to adapt and refine sales approaches.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  1. Provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds sales targets.

Sales Performance Monitoring:

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of the sales team.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Goal Setting and Target Achievement:

  • Set realistic and challenging sales targets for the team.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to develop action plans to achieve and exceed sales goals.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of a customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Sales Training and Development:

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team.
  • Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales skills.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize lead-generation efforts.

Sales Presentations and Negotiations:

  • Conduct and guide the team in delivering effective sales presentations.
  • Assist in negotiating and closing high-value deals with key clients.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.

Sales Forecasting:

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts based on market analysis and historical data.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and projections to the executive team.

Technology Utilization:

  • Leverage technology, including sales management software and analytics tools, to streamline sales processes and enhance decision-making.

Feedback and Continuous Improvement:

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the sales team.

Compliance and Ethical Standards:

  • Ensure that sales activities comply with industry regulations and ethical standards.
  • Promote a culture of integrity and transparency within the sales team.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify opportunities for market expansion and penetration.
  • Develop strategies to enter new markets and increase the firm’s market share.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the sales budget effectively.
  • Allocate resources to maximize returns and minimize costs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in insurance sales.
  • Proven work experience driving B2B, B2C, channel sales, agency in Insurance sales
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM tools.
  • Experience with managing sales funnels and customer success.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Creative capacity to develop and lead initiatives to improve sales processes.
  • Effective capacity to work and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple sales communications simultaneously.
