Job Description

Our client in the renewable energy industry is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented sales manager that can deliver on relevant KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building a robust sales pipeline and clientele, meeting sales targets, managing a high-performing team, and implementing effective sales strategies. The sales manager will play a key role in achieving revenue targets, building client relationships, and ensuring the overall success of our sales unit.

Responsibilities

Sales Strategy, Planning, and Reporting:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, product positioning, and market penetration, to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Meet or exceed the assigned sales quota.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance against targets.
  • Generate regular sales reports, forecasts, and other relevant metrics for management.

Sales Leadership:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, training and guidance to the sales team
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement improvement plans as needed.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and current clients and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and resolution of customer inquiries.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align strategies and maximize sales opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, or a related field.
  • Sales and business development skills
  • 3–4 years of proven experience in sales management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of power system products is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong networking and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM software.
