Job Description
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our global sales efforts in the copper wires, cables, rods, and related product lines. The Sales Manager will play a key role in expanding our client base, and be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and foster strong relationships with customers. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales leadership.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
- Conduct market research to identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base and market presence; stay updated on industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients through regular communication and personalized service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
- Lead the client procurement process, ensuring we source high-quality products that meets client specifications.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, securing the best possible terms for the company.
- Oversee sales transactions, ensuring timely deliveries and client satisfaction.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including setting performance targets, coaching, and professional development.
- Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives (if applicable).
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
- Prepare regular sales reports and presentations.
- Travel domestically and internationally to attend industry events and meet with clients (as needed).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the natural ingredients or commodities industry.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the copper industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, best practices, and market dynamics.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (a plus).
- Experience in international trade (a plus).
- Fluency in English and additional languages (a plus).
- Must be a self-motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally (as needed).
