Job Description

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services sector.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building activities.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate and close deals to meet revenue objectives.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
  • Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients, offering insights and solutions to meet their financial goals.

Product and Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and financial products/services.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the company’s financial offerings and how they meet the needs of clients.
  • Educate clients on the features and benefits of financial products and services.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services and products.
  • Work closely with internal teams to communicate client needs and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
  • Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Use data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies and tactics.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting the financial services industry.

Leadership and Mentoring:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members.
  • Share industry knowledge and best practices to contribute to the professional development of the team.

Continuous Learning:

  • Stay informed about advancements in financial technology and industry best practices.
  • Attend relevant conferences, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualification

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4 – 5 years work experience.
  • Meets or exceeds established annual sales production goals via generation of new accounts.
  • Partners with Customer Service Representatives to renew existing business to meet or exceed established retention goals. (Retention)
  • Maintains a current level of functional working knowledge on processes and coverage changes.
  • Keeps abreast of selling trends and techniques and use agency selling aids to help maintain a competitive status for the agency within the industry. (Self Development)
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
  • All employees have the responsibility and the accountability to serve as risk managers for their businesses by understanding, reporting, responding to, managing and monitoring the risk they encounter daily.
  • ​Participates in seminars and classes for skill and knowledge development and meets continuing education requirements.
