Job Overview:

As the Senior Sales and Marketing Specialist – Licensed Pharmacist (B2B Accounts Manager for Hospitals, HCPs, and Doctors) at eMedic Technologies Africa, you will drive sales and marketing efforts aimed at hospitals, healthcare professionals, and doctors. This full-time role focuses on managing key accounts, developing sales strategies, and promoting the adoption of eMedic’s healthcare products and services. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, providing training and support, and overseeing the sales process. This hybrid position, offering some flexibility for in-person travel vs remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets for hospitals, HCPs, and doctors. Job
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Provide product training and support to healthcare providers and their staff.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote eMedic’s offerings.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with healthcare providers and institutions.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of eMedic’s products and services.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and guidelines.
  • Work closely with the Healthcare eCommerce B2C Unit to ensure seamless integration of sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Healthcare Technologies Unit to identify and address any IT-related needs of clients.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team to inform future product enhancements.
  • Develop and implement customer loyalty programs.
  • Create and manage sales budgets, forecasts, and pipelines.
  • Mentor and support junior sales and marketing team members.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions and track sales activities.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist with a valid practicing license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing within the healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of hospital and healthcare provider operations.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, including effective negotiation capabilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Experience in training and sales management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
