Nigerian comedian Seyi Law, born Oluseyi Aletile, has publicly addressed controversial blogger and former singer Tunde Ednut in an open letter. Shared on his Instagram and Twitter accounts, the comedian accused Tunde of tarnishing his image and inciting his followers against him for the past two years.
In the lengthy post, Seyi Law revealed that he initially laughed off the attacks but has recently taken time to reflect. He expressed disappointment in Tunde’s behavior, recalling their humble beginnings and moments of goodwill between them.
In his letter, Seyi Law highlighted his integrity, stating that he has never stolen from anyone and questioned whether Tunde could make the same claim. He accused the blogger of deceiving others for personal gain and warned him against further provocation.
The comedian referenced Yoruba proverbs and songs to emphasize the importance of character and integrity, declaring his faith in time to expose the truth.
“Tunde, I have kept silent despite the things I know about you. I believe in God, who, in time, reveals the true deeds of all men. Time will expose everything. No, try me o, make your eyes no peel,” Seyi warned.
This isn’t the first time Seyi Law has addressed public scrutiny. Last year, he responded to allegations of cultism and clarified a viral video where he was seen collecting a lady’s number on a bus, noting that she was a friend.
