A few months ago, the award-winning actress opened up about her personal life, revealing that she often gets flattered when younger men slide into her DMs. She admitted to dating a younger man in the past but noted that she wouldn’t try it again. However, she shared that she is now open to marriage, though her mindset about it has evolved over time.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Shaffy reflected on her past marriage, revealing that she sacrificed her union for a successful acting career. She disclosed that over a decade ago, she left her husband and children in America to pursue her dreams in Nigeria — a decision that came with great emotional cost.

“I needed and yearned for more, but I didn’t know the price that would come with it,” she confessed.

In another interview, Shaffy also weighed in on the popular social media debate about what women bring to the table. She advised women not to feel attacked by such questions, emphasizing that confidence and independence make women more attractive to men.

“Ladies shouldn’t be too needy — it makes them less attractive,” she said.
