Social media users have criticized Nollywood actress and newly married Sharon Ooja after she shared a cryptic post from the scripture.
The movie star, who got married to a three-time divorcee in June, stated that after studying the book of Nehemiah, she noticed that one thing is evident: the enemy will always keep tabs on one’s life, and it’s an obsession. She drew parallels between her situation and the story of Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem, and others who were obsessed with Nehemiah and the building of the wall.
She wrote,
Studying the book of Nehemiah, one thing is evident. The enemy will keep tabs on your life; it’s an obsession, and they need it. Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem and co were so obsessed with Nehemiah and the building of the wall.”
Her post didn’t sit well with many, who noted that since she got married, she seems to be troubling herself.
One user, Nyiyechi0, commented, “Sharon, rest in Odogwu silencer’s name.”

A day before her white wedding, a blogger claimed that Sharon was her husband’s fourth wife, and that he had three children from his previous marriage. Netizens dug into it and brought up evidence of Sharon Ooja’s husband’s former marriage, alongside evidence of his divorce in 2019.
Following the news, many criticized her husband for entering into three marriages within five years.
Amid these claims, Sharon took to her Instagram page to express her love for her husband, describing him as her dream man and a gift from God. She also shared a prayer for their marriage.
In another post, she addressed her critics, stating that she was an unrepentant and unapologetic child of God and a child of light. She added that she is a Jesus baby to the core.
Her bestie, Bisola Aiyeola, slammed the blog for spreading lies, insisting that the blogger could not dampen Sharon’s peace.
Big Brother Naija reality star Nina also defended Sharon, stating that people can get married multiple times before finding peace of mind. She emphasized that Sharon and her husband seemed happy together and that he was single before marrying her.
Tonto Dikeh also supported Sharon, describing her as an extremely gorgeous bride who is unproblematic. She added that anyone who knows Sharon would want to pray for her every day.
