Nollywood star Sharon Ooja is celebrating her first Civil wedding anniversary with her husband, Ugo, in a deeply personal and joyful tribute.
Taking to Instagram, Sharon shared a nostalgic video from their civil wedding, reflecting on the past year filled with God’s mercy and kindness. She expressed gratitude to her husband for transforming her life with his honesty and unwavering love, calling him her “partner in all things.”
In her heartfelt message, she wrote,
Happy wedding anniversary to us (Civil wedding). It’s been over a year of God’s mercies and kindness to us. These videos are from our civil wedding ceremony, a day I’ll never forget. Thank you, Jesus, for everything, for being so kind and merciful to us. My Igbo king, you’ve changed my life in ways beyond words. With God directing and protecting us, I look forward to infinity with you, baby.”

Sharon’s love story has captured attention since March 2024, when she announced her civil wedding with a charming video. This was followed by a traditional ceremony in Abuja in June and an extravagant white wedding that became the talk of the town.
Despite facing rumours about her husband’s past marriage, Sharon stood firm, praising her husband as her “dream man and a gift from God.” In a separate statement, she addressed critics, reaffirming her faith as an unapologetic follower of Christ.
