Nollywood actress and newly married Sharon Ooja shared a reflective message with her fans and followers from the Book of Nehemiah.
Taking to her Instagram page, the movie star, who is alleged to have married a three-time divorcee, observed that one thing is evident from her Bible study: the enemy will always keep tabs on one’s life, and it’s an obsession. She drew parallels between her situation and the story of Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem, and others who were obsessed with Nehemiah and the building of the wall.
She wrote,
Studying the book of Nehemiah, one thing is evident. The enemy will keep tabs on your life; it’s an obsession, and they need it. Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem and co were so obsessed with Nehemiah and the building of the wall.”
Just a day before her white wedding, a blogger claimed that Sharon was her husband’s fourth wife and that he had three children from his previous marriages. Netizens quickly dug into the matter, presenting evidence of Sharon Ooja’s husband’s former marriage and his divorce in 2019.
This revelation led to significant backlash, with many criticizing her husband for entering into three marriages within five years.
Amid these claims, Sharon took to Instagram to express her love for her husband, describing him as her dream man and a gift from God. She also shared a prayer for their marriage.
Her close friend, Bisola Aiyeola, slammed the blog for spreading lies, insisting that the blogger could not dampen Sharon’s peace.
Big Brother Naija reality star Nina also defended Sharon, stating that people can get married multiple times before finding peace of mind. She emphasized that Sharon and her husband seemed happy together and that he was single before marrying her.
Tonto Dikeh also supported Sharon, describing her as an extremely gorgeous bride who is unproblematic. She added that anyone who knows Sharon would want to pray for her every day.
Meanwhile, Shade Ladipo questioned how Sharon Ooja’s husband had the time to get married, divorced in December 2022, and then healed before marrying Sharon in June 2024. Shade prayed that Jesus fixes the situation for Sharon because she believes patterns and people don’t change.
